Recently we applied on behalf of our client based in Cheltenham, to carry out reduction works on a large Holm Oak in the neighbouring garden. An onsite meeting with Cheltenham Borough Council's tree officer and the client present allowed all parties to plan the proposed works in accordance with BS3998:2010 (British Standard: Tree Work Recommendations). 

After consent for the works was granted we followed the guidance provided and carried out the reduction work as planned.
