Traditional Orchard Restoration
We recently completed restoration work on the trees of Henley Bank Orchard near Brockworth on behalf of Gloucestershire Orchard Trust https://glosorchards.org/. It is to be managed as a community orchard rather than public open space after being donated as part of the adjacent housing development.
The 2.5 acre site contains many mature perry pears and was very overgrown upon our first visit. The trees were surveyed by our consultant and after our TPO (Tree preservation order) application was accepted, necessary remedial work was completed to ensure the safety of visitors to the orchard and to maintain the health of the trees.
Removal of competing trees and undergrowth was also undertaken, with all arisings remaining onsite to maintain the habitat and biodiversity of the site.
We look forward to working with Gloucester Orchard Trust again in the future. If you or anyone you know is looking for a team of professional tree surgeons to manage your trees, please don't hesitate to get in touch!
